My Mother

My mother,
Who brought me up at birth
And laid me to rest

My mother,
Who kept me safe
And saw me through my rainy days

My mother,
Who saw through me
And knew the pain I was going through

My mother
Whom I will always love
And cherish till everlasting days above.

Emotive reactions

Laughter on the face of a child
The calm and joy it brings
But slowly,
With a few deep words
The smile turns upside down
And from the pit of such a moody heart
Sadness bells forth…
Followed by depression and tears
But while on the brink of tears,
Some sweet words are spoken
Then joy and calm radiates
……to see laughter on the face of a child.

Mothers Day...

today, 2nd of March is the wonderful mothers day. a lot of people often don't apprecaite their mums or don't know how to.others tend to underestimate the love and ability of a mother.

mothers are gifted..they multi-task and thats just the most amazing thing.

Ever wondered how your mum can do the ironing, while talking on the phone and at the same time helping your little brother do his homework and then thinking of what to make for lunch? if you said 'no' then thats perfectly understandable..i also wonder sometimes.

mothers love us far more than anyone can, they are always there to take us back when we really mess up. if you haven't called your mum in like a year or something, please pick up the phone right now and do that.yeah you heard me, i'm talking to you reading this page right now.

show your mothers that you care and apprecaite them for all those years they have been there for you.!!

lots of luv, The poets voice~~~

Mami

I remember when Mami was here

I would sit by her and she would stroke my hair

And tell me that I was the most beautiful child in the world

I would then climb onto her laps, putting my arms tightly around her

Resting my head on her chest and

Listening to her soft heartbeat.

Clearing her throat, she would tell me a story

"Long time ago, in a kingdom faraway"

She would begin in a serious and hushed tone.

Her thick, gold-rimmed glasses would

Slide slowly down her nose as she spoke

And then I would burst out in childish laughter

Even funnier,

Was when Mami would look at me in confusion

Not quite clear on the reason for my laughter

Years have gone by since I last saw Mami

All that is left,

Is her tender, loving care etched in my memory

I miss Mami dearly

Every old woman seems to remind me of her.

Whenever I was sad or in distress, her words were comforting.

Its no wonder,

That I will always reminisce on when Mami was here
